We have been working for the cause of the deen in West London area for over 20 years, going back to the LightStudy programmes in the late 90’s which brought together traditionally-qualified scholars with students from all over the country and overseas.
We brought many luminaries, such as Shaykh Hamza Yusuf, Imam Zaid Shakir, Shaykh Abdul-Hakeem Murad, Habeeb Umar, Shaykh Nuh Keller, and many others, to Hounslow Jamia Masjid to teach classical Islamic texts to eager students of knowledge from all over the world.
We continued our efforts in spreading the Islamic teaching through Shaykh Ibrahim Institute and West London School of Islamic Studies from 2005 – 2013.
We opened one of the only Muslim girls secondary schools in West London in 2009, Lady Nafisa School, and soon established a good reputation as well as excellent Ofsted reports.
From 2013 onwards, we launched the Ha Meem Foundation as a charitable trust and endowment fund dedicated to supporting our various initiatives of spreading Islamic knowledge.
Since 2017, we have been running the highly-acclaimed and unique Civilisations programme, consisting of a three-tier syllabus covering Islamic & Western history, Introduction to Geopolitics, and Islamic Eschatology.
In 2021, with the permission of Allah Almighty, we have gathered together some outstanding scholars and are launching the London College of Islamic Studies, a vehicle to impart authentic Sunni Islamic knowledge by qualified scholars, and to provide students with the opportunity to study up to Alim level for those who have that intention, insha Allah.
