In this lecture Sheikh Ridhwan introduces the subject and some of the leading contemporary scholars that have spoken and written on the subject. He provides a defence of one of these scholars, Sheikh Imran Hosein, from some of his critics.
The second part of the lecture goes on to outline the scholarly methodology that may be adopted when analysing the subject of Islamic eschatology.
